bipolar disorder is no laughing mater. anyone can get it,you are born with it,but it does not have to show from the start on every one, some people start showing signs when they are teens, and some when they are adults. it is more likely for you to have bipolar disorder if your parents have bipolar disorder,abused alcohol, or drugs when pregnant .there is more then manic, there is depression, mixed episodes,and more.some people go for months without showing any signs,when someone has mixed episodes they are at a significantly higher risk of suicide.but people with bipolar disorder can live a normal life,they can get help.and they can be just like everyone ells.so pleas dont think of bipolar disorder as a desperate attempt to get attention.because they cant stop them selves.but you can.don't blame them.
